KAILUA-KONA, Hawai'i – The University of Hawai'i women's golf team shot a second round 322 on the second day of the Pac-12 Preview Tuesday at the Nanea Golf Club.
The Rainbow Wahine are currently in 12
th place with a 628 total. Top-ranked Stanford continued to lead the field at 5-under 579, three strokes ahead of 22
nd-ranked USC (582).
Individually, USC's Katherine Muzi is 7-under 139 and has a two stroke lead over Stanford's Brooke Seay and Oregon State's Danique Stokmans (141).
UH's top individual is freshman
Monica Johnson, who carded a second round 80 and is 7-over 153 for the tournament and tied for 37
th. Junior
Hana Mirnik posted the low round of the day for the Rainbow Wahine at 79 and is in 48
th place at 155.
Also competing for the Rainbow Wahine are
Hyeonji Kang (158; 53
rd),
Momo Sugiyama (162; t-55
th), and
Ting-Yu Liu (162; t-55
th).
The tournament concludes on Wednesday with a 7:30 a.m., shotgun start.
