FRESNO, Calif.--The University of Hawai'i men's tennis team (5-4, 0-0 Big West) travels to Fresno, Calif. to compete in the 2020 Pacific Central Valley Championship this week. The two-day tournament is hosted by Fresno State and runs from Saturday, February 29 - Sunday, March 1 at the Wathen Tennis Center. Teams competing in the tourney are Nevada, San Francisco, Gonzaga, Wichita State, Lamar, Pacific, Hawai'i and host Fresno State.
The Rainbow Warriors have been on a roll as of late, winning their last three-straight matches and five of their last six matches. Leading the charge is UH's No. 1
Andre Ilagan. Most recently, he upset the highest ranked opponent ever, No. 43 Jack Davis from Washington in a three-set thriller to clinch a sweep over the Huskies. It was the first time the Warriors had defeated a Pac-12 team since 2006. Ilagan has a 5-3 singles record. In doubles, Ilagan and partner
Lucas Labrunie have recorded a 6-2 doubles record on the No. 1 court.
Rookie
Axel Labrunie has a team-high 6-2 record all while playing on the No. 4 court. He has won his last five-straight decisions. He and doubles partner
Blaz Seric have a combined 3-3 record playing at No. 2.

Blaz Seric and
Tristan Martins have five singles wins apiece. Seric is 5-2 playing at No. 3 and Martins is 5-1 at No. 6.
Hawai'i opens the tournament against San Francisco at 7:00 a.m. HT.
