The University of Hawai'i football team will play its third road game in four weeks when it travels to southern California to face San Diego State, Saturday, Nov. 14 in Carson, Calif. The Rainbow Warriors (2-1) are coming off a come-from-behind 39-33 victory over New Mexico while the Aztecs (2-1) dropped their first contest last week following a 28-17 home loss to San Jose State.

Game Storylines:

• Saturday's game is a rematch of last year's match-up that decided the West Division representative for the Mountain West championship game. UH won that contest 14-11 in Honolulu. 
• In last year's game, quarterback Chevan Cordeiro came off the bench to rally the Warriors, entering the contest on UH's second possession of the second half. He immediately directed a 96-yard drive on 14 plays, capped by an 11-yard Fred Holly III touchdown run that put UH up 14-3 with 5:15 left in the third quarter.
• All of SDSU's home games this season are being played at Dignity Health Sports Park in Carson, Calif. The facility is home to the Los Angeles Galaxy of Major League Soccer and was the temporary home of the NFL's Los Angeles Chargers from 2017-19. 
• UH has won three of its last four Mountain West regular season road games and is 7-3 in its last 10 such games. 
• SDSU leads the overall series 21-11-2 however UH has won the last two, including a 31-30 overtime victory in San Diego in 2018. Hawai'i's win in 2018, snapped a six-game losing streak in the series.  
• SDSU ranks No. 7 nationally in rushing offense, averaging 265.0 yards per game while UH ranks 107th in rushing defense allowing 226.7 yards per game.   
• The Aztecs boast one of the nation's top defenses ranking No. 2 in total defense (233.0 yards/game), No. 9 in scoring defense (13.7 points/game), No. 4 in passing yards allowed (133.3 yards/game), and No. 12 in rushing yards allowed (99.7 yards/game).
• UH has averaged 36.5 points and 527.5 total yards per game in its two wins while scoring only seven points and generating 233 yards of total offense in its lone loss.
• UH's Todd Graham and SDSU's Brady Hoke are two of six new head coaches in the Mountain West this season although Hoke previously coached the Aztecs from 2009-10. Both are in their 13th seasons as head coaches. Hoke's career record is 80-73, including a 15-13 mark with SDSU while Graham's career mark is 97-62.  
• A win would give UH a 3-1 start to the Mountain West season for the second time in three years. The 2018 team started 3-0 before losing their next three contests. 
• Following Saturday's game, UH will play three of its next four games at Aloha Stadium including in consecutive weeks against Boise State (Nov. 21) and Nevada (Nov. 28). 
• UH's five remaining Mountain West opponents have a combined record of 10-4 which includes 3-0 teams San José State and Nevada and 2-1 Boise State.
