HONOLULU – The University of Hawai'i Athletics Department launched a new social media contest, "H-Day Friday - Fan Photo of the Month."
Every Friday is "H-Day" and fans can participate by posting their photos on social media using the hashtag #HDayFriday.
Each month there is a different theme. The participant who submits the best fan photo, based on the judging criteria, will win a monthly grand prize.
Monthly Themes:
July – Mask Up
August – Exercise
September – Back to School
October – Cooking at Home
November – Get Your "H" On
December – Christmas Theme
January – Photo With Your Pet(s)
February – Couples Theme
March – Outdoors
April – Shaka
May – Get Your "H" On
June – Summer Fun
How to Participate:
- Take a photo wearing "H-Logo" apparel.
- The theme for June is "Summer Fun"
- Post your photo on social media (on Fridays) using the hashtag #HDayFriday
Fans must post on Fridays (12:00am-11:59pm) to be entered to win, and can submit photos on the following social media platforms – Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter.
(If you post on Instagram Stories, you must tag @HawaiiAthletics to be eligible)
Judging Criteria:
- Wearing "H-Logo" apparel
- Emphasizes the monthly theme
- Creativity
Monthly Grand Prize:
At the end of the month we will select one (1) grand prize winner.
(If your photo is selected, we will contact you to inform you that you've won and mail the grand prize to you within 1-2 weeks.)
The grand prize winner for the month of June will receive an
Under Armour Swag Bundle, which includes a backpack, hat, polo shirt, t-shirt, lanyard, and towel.
The contest debuted on Friday, July 3 and will run through June 30, 2021.
Fan Photo Slideshow:
#HDayFriday fan photos will be featured on the video board screens (on Friday's) during the following UH sporting events: volleyball, basketball, baseball, and softball.
Look for your photo on the video board screen when you attend a Friday game.
