University of Hawai'i senior offensive lineman Kohl Levao was selected to the Rimington Trophy Watch List. The Rimington Trophy is awarded to the nation's top center and this year's spring watch list features 63 candidates.
 
Levao moved to center for the final three games of last season after starting the first 11 at right tackle. He helped pave the way for an offense that finished ninth nationally in passing.
 
Four other centers from Mountain West teams made the initial list; Garrett Larson of Boise State, Kyle Stapley of New Mexico, Keith Ismael of San Diego State, and Sid Acosta of UNLV.
 
UH's only Rimington Trophy finalist was John Estes in 2009.
 
This year celebrates the 20^thanniversary of the Rimington Trophy. The winner will be presented live at the The Home Depot College Football Awards, December 12 on ESPN and will be recognized at the Rimington Trophy Presentation in Lincoln, Neb., January 18, 2020. 
 
Dave Rimington, the award's namesake, was a consensus first-team All-American center at the University of Nebraska in 1981 and 1982, during which time he became the Outland Trophy's only double winner as the nation's finest college interior lineman.
