LONG BEACH, Calif.—The University of Hawai'i women's tennis team (3-7, 2-2 Big West) fell to Long Beach State, 5-1 to start their fourth roadtrip of the season.
Due to inclement weather delays, the match started with singles.

Petra Melounova extended her win streak to seven-straight matches. Melounova, who rose to 19 spots to No. 100 earlier this week, She captured the first match of the day with a 6-2, 6-1 win over Long Beach State's Wiktoria Rutkowski.
The Rainbow Wahine struggled on the rest of the courts. The 49ers clinched the match on court No. 6 as Dominique Meyer held off
Alzbeta Houbova, 6-4, 6-3. No. 4
Michelle Pits lost by just a break in a straight-set loss to Lalita Devarakonda, 6-4, 7-5.
The Rainbow Wahine remain on the road to battle against a pair of PAC-12 teams—No. 19 California (Saturday, March 23) and No. 4 Stanford (Sunday, March 24)
