Baseball to hold Alumni Game on Saturday

HONOLULU - As part of a weekend-long celebration of University of Hawaiʻi baseball, the program will hold its Alumni Game on Saturday, Feb. 9 at Les Murakami Stadium on campus. First pitch is slated for 11:00 a.m. and admission to the game is free.

The following day - Sunday, Feb. 10 - UH baseball will host the 17th annual Grand Slam Celebration at the Stan Sheriff Center. The event, which includes music, live and silent auctions, and food throughout the night, is a fundraiser for the baseball program (purchase tickets to the Grand Slam Celebration HERE).

Saturday's Alumni Game will give fans their first look at the 2019 squad while seeing some former 'Bows take the field. UH brings back four All-Big West selections from a year ago including First Teamers Dylan Thomas and Maaki Yamazaki.

The season will officially kick off on Friday, Feb. 15 with a home game versus Portland at 6:35 p.m. at Les Murakami Stadium. The 'Bows will play their first 20 games of the season at home with a total of 32 home games scheduled for the year.
