PHOENIX, Ariz. – The University of Hawai'i women's golf team finished in 14
thplace with a 918 total at the Grand Canyon Invitational Sunday at the GCU Golf Course.
The Rainbow Wahine carded a final round 306 after finishing up Round 2 in the morning with a 308 total. Junior
Megan Ratcliffe was the team's top finisher, tying for 14
thplace at 7-over 223, which included a final round 1-over 73.
Toledo went wire-to-wire to capture the team title at 877 while South Dakota State's Teresa Toscano won a three-person playoff for medalist honors. She along with Lamar's Elodie Chaplet and Southern Utah's Pluem Yongyuan all completed 54 holes in 4-under 212.

Kaci Masuda shot a final round 77 to finish 13-over 229 and a tie for 43
rdplace. Three strokes behind her was sophomore
Sahara Washington, who carded 78 on Sunday for a tie for 57
th. Competing in her first tournament of the season, sophomore
Emma Lower shot a respectable 235 over the two days and tied for 72
ndwhile freshman
Haruka Shintani totaled 247 for a tie for 97
th.
The Rainbow Wahine will next host the Dr. Donnis Thompson Invitational, March 12-13 at the Kāne'ohe Klipper Golf Course on O'ahu.
