The University of Hawai'i Athletics Department held a ceremony for 39 student-athletes graduating from the university on Saturday morning. The 39 student-athletes, include current and former student-athletes from 14 different varsity teams, as well as cheerleading.
Football accounted for 17 of the 39 winter graduates, track and field accounted for five graduates, baseball, men's swimming and diving, sailing, soccer and women's volleyball each had two graduates, with cheer, men's golf, softball, women's golf, women's basketball, women's tennis and water polo represented by a single winter graduate.Â
Four of the five track and field graduates walked this weekend due to 2020 track meets possibly falling on the spring graduation date. The four will complete their degrees in the spring.
