KAILUA-KONA, Hawai'i – The University of Hawai'i women's golf team completed the Nanea Pac-12 Preview with its best round of the tournament Wednesday at the Nanea Golf Club.
 
The Rainbow Wahine carded a 313 to finish with a 946 total and 12^th place. Eighth-ranked Arizona captured the team title at 857, two strokes over runner-up No. 22 UCLA (859).
 
Junior Tyra Tonkham carded a final round 77 to finish in 48^th place at 233. One stroke back was senior Megan Ratcliffe, who shot the best round of the tournament for the Rainbow Wahine, with a 1-over 74 to finish in a tie for 49^th place at 234.
 
Also competing for the Rainbow Wahine were junior Sahara Washington (82=237, 53^rd), sophomore Haruka Shintani (80=242, 59^th), and senior Malia Ebersberger (87=258, 60^th).
 
Washington's Rino Sasaki captured medalist honors with her third straight round of 70 for a 9-under 210 total. UCLA's Ty Akabane and Mariel Galdiano were two strokes back at 7-under 212. 
 
The Pac-12 Preview closes out the fall season for the Rainbow Wahine. The spring season begins with the Battle at the Rock in Riverside, Calif., Feb. 10-11, 2020.
