HONOLULU—The University of Hawai'i women's tennis team continues its three-week homestand against Baylor on Saturday, Jan. 12 and CSUN in UH's Big West opener on Sunday, Jan. 13. The Rainbow Wahine's match vs. the Bears begins at 11:00 a.m., while UH will take on the Matadors at 2:00 p.m. with both matches to be played at the UH Tennis Complex.
The Rainbow Wahine are coming off hosting the three-day Rainbow Wahine Invitational this past week.
Nikola Dolakova,
Alzbeta Houbova and
Michelle Pits were all able to notch wins in singles against Washington State. Pits was able to record the biggest win of the weekend defeating No. 83 Michaela Byerlova in a third set super-tiebreaker.
In doubles, Hawai'i's duo of
Maayan Sela and
Nikola Dolakova was able to post a pair of wins during the tournament.
For both Baylor and CSUN, this weekend's dual match will be their DI season openers.
