HONOLULU – The University of Hawai'i men's volleyball team will host its alumni match Friday, Jan. 25 at the Stan Sheriff Center. Admission is
FREE.
Festivities begin at 6:00 p.m., with a skills challenge followed by the alumni-varsity match at 7:00 p.m. The skills competition will feature serving, setting, and hitting contests between the former Warriors and the current team. An autograph session will follow the scrimmage.
Among the alumni signed up for the event are players representing several decades including recent letterwinners
Larry Tuileta, Māmane Namahoe and Kolby Kanetake.
The Rainbow Warriors (3-0) were idle last week but still managed to move up to No. 2 in this week's AVCA Top 15 poll. UH will next face No. 8 Stanford in a two-match non-conference series, Friday, Feb. 1 and Sunday, Feb. 3.
