Game Notes

• UH plays the first of four straight Big West home games when it hosts UC Irvine, the league's preseason favorite.
• The Rainbow Warriors are coming off a road split at CSUN (W) and UC Riverside (L).  
• The 'Bows loss at UCR ended the team's season-long five-game win streak and gave UH its first Big West loss of the year.
• UH has won four straight at home and are 9-2 at the SSC this season.
• This will be UH and UC Irvine's first meeting since the Anteaters bounced the 'Bows from last year's Big West Tournament quarterfinals. 
• UCI rallied from a 10-point deficit in the final four minutes to snatch a 68-67 win from UH. Two of the last three meetings have each been decided by just one point.
• Both coaching staffs will be wearing sneakers as part of the Coaches vs. Cancer Suits & Sneakers week.
• After playing UCI, UH will host UC Davis on  Saturday, Jan. 26.
