Playing on the No. 2 court, Ilagan took care of Christopher Morin-Kouggoucheff in straight sets, 6-4, 6-4. It marked Ilagan's first dual match of his collegiate career after winning a pair of HHSAA singles champions while at Farrington High School in Honolulu.
