SAMMAMISH, Wash. – The University of Hawai'i men's golf team completed the season-opening Husky Invitational with a 12
thplace finish following Wednesday's third and final round at the Aldarra Golf Club.
The Rainbow Warriors carded their best round of the tournament with a 389 for an 1196 total. Host Washington ran away with the title with a 1086 total. Nevada (1102) was runner-up followed by Boise State (1111).
UH's top finisher was sophomore
Justin Ngan, who tied for 43
rdwith a 232 total following a final round 78. Senior
Cameron Kaneko bounced back from a first round 84 with 75 on Wednesday for a 235 total and tie for 49
th.

Justin Arcano posted the best round of tourney among UH's contingent with a final round 2-over 73 that included third birdies on the day. Arcano tied for 60
that 239.
Also competing for the Warriors were sophomore

th), junior
Trevor Hirata (251, 69
th), and freshman AJ Teraoka (262, 73
rd).
UW's Robert Moran captured medalist honors at 1-under 212, two strokes ahead of Nevada's Joey Vrzich and UW's Noah Woolsey (214).
UH will next compete at the Alister MacKenzie Invitational, Oct. 8-9 in Fairfax, Calif.
