SAN FRANCISCO, Calif.—University of Hawai'i men's tennis players Andre Ilagan and Blaz Seric competed in extra tournament matches on the final day of the Battle In The Bay Classic in San Francisco, Calif. hosted by the California Tennis Club.
 
In doubles, UH's duo of Ilagan and Seric edged out San Diego State's Ignacio Martinez and Sander Gjoels-Andersen by a break, 8-6. While in singles, Seric notched his first win of the weekend. Seric defeated USC's Bradley Frye in a third set tie-breaker, 6-4, 3-6, 10-7. Ilagan fell to Fresno State's Mantas Bugailiskis in straight sets, 7-5, 6-3.
 
Member of the Rainbow Warrior tennis team will next compete in the Intercollegiate Tennis Association's (ITA) Regional Tournament in Malibu, Calif. from Oct. 19-23.
