SPRINGVILLE, Utah – University of Hawai'i junior
Megan Ratcliffe fired consecutive rounds of even par 71 and is in a tie for third place following the first day of the Hobble Creek Fall Classic Monday at the Hobble Creek Golf Course.
The Qualicum Beach, British Columbia native is six strokes off the lead held by Sam Houston State's Hannah Alberto, who shot consecutive rounds of 68 and is 6-under 136 for the tournament. Southern Utah's Chanikan Yongyuan is three strokes back at 3-under 139.
As a team, the Rainbow Wahine are in seventh place with a two round total of 601 (300-301). Northern Arizona is the leader at 585, two strokes ahead of host Utah Valley and Tulsa (587). CSUN the other Big West Conference team in the 12-team field is in 10
that 611.
