Justin Arcano followed up on his first round 72 with a second round 73 Monday at the 2018 Big West Conference Men's Golf Championship at the Industry Hills Golf Club.
The Wailuku, Maui native is still among the Top 20 competitors and is in a six-way tie for 16
thplace at 1-over 145, seven strokes off the lead. The third and final round is scheduled for Tuesday.
As a team, the Rainbow Warriors sit in ninth place at 609 after a second round 300. First round leader Cal State Fullerton is tied atop the leaderboard with UC Irvine at 569. UC Davis (573) is third followed by UC Santa Barbara (574) and Long Beach State (576).
Arcano posted three birdies and four bogeys on his round, which was the second best among the UH contingent. Senior
Smart Kittirattanapaiboon carded the low round of the day at even par 72, which included a birdie on his closing hole. The Thailand native is tied for 37
that 8-over 152.
Individually, UCSB's Brandon Bauman and CSUF's Martin Manalo are tied atop the leaderboard at 5-under 139.

Nick Nelson is tied with Kittirattanapaiboon for 37
