SANTA BARBARA, Calif.—The University of Hawai' men's tennis team (2-11, 1-0 Big West) heads to California for a three-match conference roadtrip, starting at UC Santa Barbara on Friday, April 6. The Rainbow Warriors will then head up the coast to take on Cal Poly on Sunday, April 8 then come back down to play at UC Irvine on Wednesday, April 11.
Hawai'i opened the Big West Conference season last week with a dramatic 4-3 win over UC Davis on Senior Day. UH senior
Felix Albert came through in the clutch in his final match in Manoa. Albert and doubles partner
Fabian Woehrl clinched the doubles point on court No. 2, and later with the match tied at 3-3, Albert again was clutch, as he clinched UH's first home conference win since 2014 with a 3-6, 6-2, 6-3 victory over UCD's David Goulak.
Overall, Albert is tied with teammate Lucas LabBrunie with the most singles wins on the team with 4-8 records.
Tristan Martins and Woehrl are both right behind with 3-7 and 3-9 records respectively.
In doubles, UH's No. 2 duo of Albert and Woehrl lead the 'Bows with a 2-7 overall record.
