WAILEA, Maui—The University of Hawai'i men's tennis team (1-10, 0-0 Big West) took on No. 15 Oklahoma State on Wednesday afternoon at the Wailea Tennis Club on the island of Maui. The Rainbow Warriors battled hard, but fell to the Cowboys, 7-0.
 
OK State captured the doubles point winning on courts No. 1 and No. 2 to take the early 1-0 lead.
 
In singles, UH's No. 4 Aleksa Lazarevic fell in the first set, but battled back in the second, before falling to Jurence Mendoza, 6-1, 7-5. Hawai'i's Lucas Labrunie fell by a break in both sets to 111^th-ranked Mathieu Scaglia, 6-4, 7-5. UH No. 1 Blaz Seric was edged out in a second set tie-breaker by #83 Artur Dubinski, 6-3, 7-6(8) while on the No. 6 court, Tristan Martins won the first set, but dropped the last two to Leftherios Theodorou, 2-6, 6-1, 6-4.
 
The Rainbow Warriors return home for their Senior Day match in their Big West opener against UC Davis on Tuesday, March 27 at 3:00 p.m. at the UH Tennis Complex.
