HONOLULU—The University of Hawai'i softball team (15-12, 0-0 Big West) recorded its third walkoff win in their last four games. Hawai'i loaded the bases with no outs in the bottom of the seventh and 
Jennifer Iseri ripped a two-RBI double and 
Rachael Turner came through with the clutch, walk-off single to drive in 
Britnee Rossi for the game-winning run on Friday night at the Rainbow Wahine Softball Stadium. 
Dana Thomsen (9-8) earned the complete game win on Day 3 of the Bank of Hawaii Rainbow Wahine Classic.
 
Thomsen gave up two runs on six hits with two walks and eight strikeouts. It was Thomsen's 10
th-straight start for the 'Bows in two weeks.
 
North Dakota took an early 1-0 lead after scoring one run in the second inning. After starting the inning with two strike outs, Dani Romero reached on a single and then scored on a Marina Marzonlino followed with a single that ricocheted off a diving centerfielder which allowed Romero to come around to score.
 
In the fourth the Fighting Hawks added another run to their lead on a solo home run by Angel Love to give UND a 2-0 lead.
 
Going into the final inning, UH was out-hitting UND, 10-8 and had runners on in every inning except one, leaving eight runners on base. But the cardiac kids came through once more when it counted most. 
Cheeks Ramos led the inning off with a single to right-centerfield. 
Danielle Garcielita then hit a single to left to put runners at first and second. North Dakota then lifted starting pitcher Nikki Pica for Hannah Bergh. Bergh walked Rossi to load the bases with no outs. Iseri then drove a double to the right-centerfield wall to drive in both pinch runner 
Jenna Kumabe and Garcielita to tie the game at 2-2. 
Nicole Lopez was then intentionally walked to load the bases again with no outs. After a strikeout, Turner came through with the walk-off hit to left to drive in Rossi for the win.
 
On Wednesday night, Garcielita came through with an RBI-sac fly in the final inning to down the Fighting Hawks, 4-3. Then last night, Rossi came through with a three-run homer in the bottom of the seventh to lift UH to 6-5 win over Cleveland State.
 
UND's Pica threw the first six-plus innings. She allowed two runs on 10 hits with a walk and two strikeouts. Bergh suffered the loss, throwing just one-third of an inning. She allowed one run on two hits with two walks and a strikeout. a
 
Hawai'i continues the Bank of Hawaii Rainbow Wahine Classic on Saturday, March 17. The 'Bows will face Cleveland State at 4:00 pm at the Rainbow Wahine Softball Stadium.
