RIVERSIDE, Calif. – The University of Hawai'i men's basketball team and UC Riverside will face off for the second time in 10 days when they take the court on Saturday, February 17. Tipoff is 7:30 p.m. PT/5:30 p.m. HT.
The Rainbow Warriors (14-10, 5-6 BW) look to avenge a 64-60 loss to the Highlanders (7-18, 2-9 BW) in Honolulu on Feb. 7, a game in which the 'Bows shot a season-low 33 percent. The teams have split each of the last two regular-season series with the road team winning five straight in the series.
Each team is coming off a road win. The 'Bows ended a five-game Big West skid—its longest since joining the league in 2012-13--with a huge 62-61 win at UC Irvine on Thursday and now look to complete a road sweep when they take on UCR.
The Bows shot 20-of-24 from the line to key its win at UC Irvine . The 'Bows are shooting 81 percent from the free throw line as a team in the last seven games.
Following its game at UC Riverside, UH will play its final home games of the season vs. Long Beach State (Feb. 22) and UC Irvine (Feb. 24).
