DAVIS, Calif.—The University of Hawai'i women's tennis team fell to UC Davis to conclude their first roadtrip of the year. The Aggies downed the Rainbow Wahine, 4-2 on Tuesday afternoon at the Marya Welch Tennis Center in Davis, Calif. Hawai'i drops to 2-2 overall and 1-1 in the Big West, while UC Davis improves to 6-1 overall and 1-0 in the BWC.
 
Hawai'i started off well by capturing the doubles point. On the No. 2 court, UH's Petra Melounova and Roxanne Resma blanked UCD's Lani-Rae Green and Kristina Bresacher, 6-0. Hawai'i'is No. 1 duo of Klara Pribylova and Nikola Dolakova defeated Kristy Jorgensen and Kelsie Byant, 6-2, as the 'Bows took the early 1-0 lead.
 
In singles however, UC Davis won four out of the first five finished matches, Hawai'i's lone singles winner on Tuesday was Roxanne Resma who defeated Isabella Von Ebbe in straight sets, 6-3. 6-2 on the No. 6 court. In the first set, three matches went to UCD by a 7-5 score. Only Melounova's match on the No. 1 court against Jorgensen went to three sets, but the match went unfinished.
