The No. 3-ranked Rainbow Warrior Volleyball team will be recognized and take part in a slam dunk contest during halftime. 
 
Game Notes
  • UH closes its non-conference schedule with a matchup versus Alabama A&M.
  • It's the team's sixth straight December home game with the Rainbow Warriors going 4-1 so far.
  • This will be the first meeting between the teams. UH is a perfect 22-0 all-time against SWAC teams, including a 76-51 win over Mississippi Valley State on Dec. 16.
  • The Rainbow Warriors are coming off a 2-1 finish in the Hawaiian Airlines Diamond Head Classic, highlighted by wins over Colorado (70-62, OT) and Rhode Island (68-60).
  • Following the Alabama A&M game, UH will have a 10-day gap before opening up league play at home against defending Big West Tournament champs Cal State Fullerton on January 9.
  • UH will enter leauge play with a winning record for the 10th time in the last 11 seasons. The only losing non-conference record during the span was 2016-17 (6-7).
