Kaci Masuda carded a 2-over 75 in the second round of the Nanea Pac-12 Preview Tuesday at the Nanea Golf Club.
The senior from Pearl City, O'ahu posted four birdies on her round and is currently in a tie for 47
thplace at 8-over 154. Sophomore
Sahara Washington is the team's top contender following up a first round 73 with a second round 78. The Universal City, Texas native is 5-over 151, good for a tie for 34
th.
As a team, the Rainbow Wahine continue to sit in 12
thplace after firing a 315 on Tuesday for a 631 total. No. 49 California holds a two-shot lead at 581 after a second round even par 292. No. 13 Stanford and 45
th-ranked Colorado are tied for second at 583.
Also competing for the Rainbow Wahine are junior
Megan Ratcliffe (81, 163), sophomore
Malia Ebersberger (81, 163), who are both tied for 57
th. Sophomore
Tyra Tonkham was forced to withdraw in Round 2.
Arizona's Yu-Sang Hou holds a one-stroke lead in the individual leaderboard following her second round 71 and is 6-under 140 for the tournament. Cal's Katherine Zhu is 5-under after also carding 2-under 71 while teammate Cindy Oh, the round one leader is two strokes off the lead at 4-under.
The third and final round will be held Wednesday with a 7:30 a.m. shotgun start.
