KAANAPALI, Maui – The University of Hawai'i men's golf team finished in 18
thplace after Sunday's final round of the Kā'anapali Classic Collegiate Invitational at the Royal Kā'anapali Course.
The Rainbow Warriors shot a final round 293 for an 873 total. No. 26 California captured to the team title with an 805 total, 11 strokes better than No. 27 North Florida, who finished runner-up in its first appearance at the Kā'anapali Classic. No. 11 Oklahoma placed third at 817.
Individually, Cal's Sebastian Crampton carded a final round 63 to win medalist honors at 17-under 196. Oklahoma's Quade Cummins finished runner-up at 15-under 198, while Cal's Collin Morikawa was third at 199.
UH sophomore
Justin Arcano shot a final round even par 71 to finish 3-over 216 for the tournament and a tie for 64
thplace. Sophomore
Justin Ngan carded 76 to tie for 86
that 220.
Senior
Cameron Kaneko tied for 90
that 221 after a final round 79 while sophomore
Cole Yoshida tied for 93
rdat 223 after a 1-over 72. Junior
Nick Nelson rounded out the UH contingent with a 74 to finish at 226 and a tie for 102
nd.
