Game Notes
- UH travels to Fullerton, Calif., to play in the Wooden Legacy for the first time.
- This is the second ESPN Events tournament that UH will participate in. The Rainbow Warriors enter their 10th season hosting the Hawaiian Airlines Diamond Head Classic this December.
- This will be the 60th meeting between Utah and UH. UH has played no other team more than the Utes with 41 of those games coming between 1980-99 as WAC rivals.
- This will be the third straight year the teams meet, with Utah winning the last two, including an 80-60 win in Salt Lake city last December.
- UH is coming off of a comfortable 85-68 home win over Northern Arizona.
- UH's first four games have all been decided by no fewer than 17 points.
- The 'Bows sport a balanced attack with four players averaging double-digit points, led by junior forward Zigmars Raimo (13.8 ppg).
- UH and Utah are the only two teams in the nation that have three 7-footers on their current roster.
- UH will be playing its first preseason mainland tournament since the 2014 Gulf Coast Showcase in Florida.
- Eran Ganot will be coaching in his 99th game as UH skipper when UH faces Utah.
- UH is 10th in the NCAA in three-point field goal percentage defense (.216).
- UH is averaging 9.3 three-pointer per game ranking 99th nationally. Last year UH averaged 6.7 (266 NCAA rank).
