HONOLULU--The University of Hawai'i women's tennis team opens its Fall schedule hosting the 2018 UH Anuenue Invite at the UH Tennis Complex. The tournament will be played over two weekends, starting on Friday, Oct. 5-Sunday, Oct. 7 and will conclude on Sunday, Oct. 14. Check the women's tennis schedule for start times. Hawai'i will be playing Hawai'i Pacific in the four day tourney.
The Rainbow Wahine are led by two-time defending Big West Player of the Year
Petra Melounova. She enters the fall ranked at No. 51 in the Intercollegiate Tennis Association rankings. Also leading the 'Bows this year are its two seniors:
Roxanne Resma who beginning her fourth year at UH and
Maayan Sela, a senior transfer from Pacific. Also returning to the veteran squad are juniors
Nikola Dolakova,
Alzbeta Houbova, and
Michelle Pits who were all key members of last year's team that captured the Big West Tournament and advanced to the second NCAA Championship tourney in program history.
