SAN DIEGO, Calif.—The University of Hawai'i women's tennis team completed its matches at the ITA Southwest Regionals on Sunday at the Barnes Tennis Center in San Diego, Calif.
The Rainbow Wahine were competing in consolation matches in both doubles and singles. UH won two of four doubles matches and in one of four singles matches.
In doubles, Hawai'i's duo of
Maayan Sela and
Nikola Dolakova defeated Arizona's Marie Van Aelst and Taylor Tanblyn by a break, 6-4, while UH's
Petra Melounova and
Roxanne Resma overpowered San Diego's Nicole Anderson and Maria Tyrina, 6-1.
Sela was the lone Rainbow Wahine to win in singles. She knocked off San Diego State's Ellie Ashley, 8-4.
The Rainbow Wahine will be competing in the annual Kailua Night Doubles tournament from Nov. 4-10.
