Game Notes:

• UH and Wyoming will play for the Paniolo Trophy, one of three rivalry trophies in the Mountain West UH is involved with. Wyoming currently holds the trophy by virtue of its 28-21 overtime win in Laramie last year.
• The Warriors are off to a 2-0 conference start for the second time in three seasons under Nick Rolovich. UH is seeking its first-ever 3-0 start in the in MW. 
• UH is one win shy of its 200th at Aloha Stadium. UH holds a 199-138-4 (.589) record in its 44th season at the Halawa venue. 
• UH is coming off a 44-41 five-overtime win at San Jose State. For the second straight week, the Warriors fell behind by 14 points in the first half before rallying for a victory.
• Wyoming (2-3) opened Mountain West play this past weekend with a 34-14 home loss to league-favorite Boise State. 
• The Cowboys lead the all-time series 14-9 and have won seven of the last eight meetings. UH's lone win during that stretch was a 38-28 home win in 2014. Two of the three MW games between the teams have gone into overtime.
• UH is off to its best six-game start (5-1) since the 2007 season (6-0). Hawai'i has posted a 5-1 record or better only five previous times since becoming a Division I program (1981, '88, '89, '92, and 2007).
• UH received one vote in the AP Poll this week. UH also earned votes in Week 2 & 3.
• UH is 3-0 at home this season with an average margin of victory of 17.7 points. The Warriors are 2-4 all-time in its first Mountain West home game of the season, including 1-1 under Nick Rolovich.
• UH has scored 40+ points or more in all five of its victories. The Warriors are 9-0 under Nick Rolovich when scoring 40+ points and 20-0 including his tenure as UH offensive coordinator (2010-11).
• Quarterback Cole McDonald is the nation's leader in passing yards (2,100), passing TDs (24), and points responsible for (160) and No. 2 in total offense (387.8 ypg). He ranks in the nation's Top 10 in seven total categories.
• Slot receiver John Ursua is No. 1 nationally in receiving yards (771), receiving TDs (12), total touchdowns (13), and total points scored (78) and ranks in the Top 10 in seven categories.
