HONOLLU—The UH Anuenue Invite continued on Wednesday night at the UH Tennis Complex as Hawai'i and Hawai'I Pacific continued with both singles and doubles matches.
In doubles, Hawai'i Pacific won both matches with Heloise Le Normand and Elisa Elhadj holding off UH's
Michelle Pits and
Alzbeta Houbova by a tiebreaker, 8-7 (3). The Sharks' Bianca Schulhof and Jayme Waites defeated
Marina Hruba and
Sophia Storch in an exhibition match, 8-5.
Hawai'i won all three singles matches. First UH's
Maayan Sela defeated Nicole Ballach in straight sets, 6-3, 6-3.
Roxanne Resma then came back in the second set to sweep Sarah Ikioka, 6-2, 7-5. After dropping the first set, UH's
Nikola Dolakova came all the way back to knock off Mihoki Miyahara, 4-6, 6-2, 6-3.
The tournament will conclude on Sunday, October 14 beginning at 1:30 p.m.
