HONOLULU—The University of Hawai'i completed its last non-conference tournament on Thursday night as the UH Anuenue came to a close. It was a blustery day at the UH Tennis Complex with a rain delay with one match left.
 
Against the highest ranked teams that the Rainbow Wahine have played to date this season, UH's duo of Nikola Dolakova and Klara Pribylova defeated Pepperdine's Evgeniya Levashova and Laura Gulbe, 6-2 for the 'Bows' lone doubles win of the day. Michelle Pits and Roxanne Resma battled, but came up just short, falling to Duke's Meible Chi and Hannah Zhao, 7-5.
 
In singles, Dolakova was the only Rainbow Wahine to earn a victory. She won the first set, then was edged out in a second-set tiebreaker, but then blanked Duke's Rebecca Smaller to win in three sets, 6-2, 6-7 (5), 6-0.
 
The Rainbow Wahine will take on No. 6 Pepperdine in UH's second dual match of the year on Saturday, Jan. 20 at 11:00 a.m. at the UH Tennis Complex
