PALM DESERT, Calif. – The University of Hawai'i women's golf team is two strokes off the lead and in second place following the first two rounds of the Wyoming Cowgirl Desert Intercollegiate at The Classic Club.
The Rainbow Wahine posted rounds of 299 and 301 for a 600 total, two strokes behind Santa Clara (598) heading into Sunday's final round. Individually, freshman
Emma Lower (147) and junior
Kaci Masuda (149) are second and third, respectively. Lower trails leader Mami Murez of Santa Clara by three strokes.
After the day's first round, UH held a four stroke lead over Santa Clara with a 299 behind Lower's 1-under 71. The Mesa, Ariz., native carded four birdies in her round and followed with a 4-over 76 in Round 2. Masuda shot 75 and 74 and is five strokes back at 5-over 149.

th at 153. Sophomore
Megan Ratcliffe is tied for 25
th at 158 (82-76).
