SAN FRANCISCO, Calif.--Men's tennis players Blaz Seric and Lucas Labrunie will be representing the University of Hawai'i this weekend at the Battle in the Bay Classic this week. The two freshmen will be part of a 32 player singles draw which features 12 schools. The tournament will run from Friday, Sept. 22 through Sunday, Sept. 24 at the California Tennis Club in San Francisco, Calif. Teams participating in the Battle in the Bay are Geogia (4), TCU (4), USC (2), California (4), Pacific (2), Pepperdine (3), Portland (1), UC Santa Barbara (2), San Diego (2), Boise State (2), San Francisco (4). 

Seric will open the tournament against UCS's Laurens Verbovern on Friday, Sept. 22 at 1:30 p.m. Labrunie will take on Anders Holm from fellow Big West school, UC Santa Barbara also on Friday at 4:30 p.m. The Rainbow Warrior duo will also compete in the doubles draw. The two will take on Mathieau Garcia (Portland) and Maxwell Mendelsohn (Pepperdine).
