FULLERTON, Calif.—The University of Hawai'i women's tennis team (13-6, 7-0 Big West) will put its undefeated conference record on the line in its final regular season match of the year at Cal State Fullerton's Titan Courts this Sunday, April 23 at 8:00 a.m. HT. The Titans are looking to defend their home court though as they come into this week with a school-record 17-2 overall mark and a 5-2 record in conference. Hawai'i has already earned at least a share of their first ever Big West regular season title and has claimed the top seed in next week's BWC Championship tournament at the Indian Wells Tennis Garden in Indian Wells, Calif.

Petra Melounova who has a team-high 15-2 overall record and a 5-0 record in conference matches. Her one dual match singles loss came in UH's opener against Washington's Stacey Fung on the No. 1 court. Melounova has since reeled off 13-straight wins with two matches going unfinished. She earned decisions in seven matches at No. 1 and seven at No. 2. In doubles, Melounova and partner
Roxanne Resma come into this week ranked No. 68 in the Intercollegiate Tennis Associations' rankings. UH's top duo have won their last eight matches together with one match going unfinished at Stanford.
UH's lone senior
Cindy Nguyen is second on the team with an overall record of 14-7 with a dual match mark of 12-6. She is 6-1 in conference matches. After losing four straight matches in a row in the middle of last month, she has regrouped and battled back to win her last four straight decisions with her match at UNLV going unfinished. In doubles, Nguyen has played 18-of-21 matches this season with partner
Klara Pribylova. Together, the two have posted an 11-6 overall record and gone 3-2 in the Big West primarily on the No. 2 court.
Sophomores
Marina Hruba and
Roxanne Resma both have reached double-digit wins in singles. Hruba, like Melounova, is undefeated with a 5-0 record in conference. Overall she is 13-5 with an 11-3 record on the No. 3 court in dual matches. She has won 12 of her last 13 decisions with two going unfinished. Resma earned her 10
th win of the season this past Saturday with a 6-3, 7-5 win at No. 4 over Grand Canyon's Lana Rinaldi. Resma is now 10-10 overall but a perfect 5-0 in conference matches like Melounova and Hruba.
