RIVERSIDE, Calif.—The University of Hawai'i women's tennis team kept things rolling, winning its sixth-straight match with a sweep at UC Riverside on Wednesday afternoon at the SRC Tennis Courts in Riverside, Calif.  The Rainbow Wahine improved to 7-2 overall and 4-0 in the Big West. The Highlanders fell to 1-5 overall and 0-4 in conference.
 
Hawai'i captured the doubles point with wins on Courts 1 and 3. UH's No. 1 duo of Cindy Nguyen and Klara Pribylova nearly blanked UCR's Karla Dulay and Tracy Van, 6-1, to start the match. On the No. 3 court, UH's Nikola Dolakova and Alzbeta Houbova doubled up on UC Riverside's Natalie Penner and Tamilla Vaksman to win, 6-3 to earn the point.
 
In singles, Hawai'i won five of its matches in straight sets, beginning with No. 2 Roxanne Resma defeating Sara Khattab, 6-2, 6-1. Houbova followed soon after with a 6-4, 6-1 win over Penner, 6-4, 6-1 on the No. 6 court. Michelle Pits, UH's No. 3, then defeated UCR's Van, 6-2, 6-2 to clinch the win for the Rainbow Wahine. No. 5 Pribylova kept things going edging out Vaksman by a break in the first set before blanking her opponent in the second to win, 7-5, 6-0.  Dolakova then won her first collegiate singles match in her career, defeating Lauren Wolfe at No. 4, 6-4, 6-2. Nguyen then sealed the sweep with a 5-7, 6-1, 10-1 win over Dulay at No. 1.
 
Reigning Big West Athlete of the Week, Petra Melounova and Marina Hruba did not play in today's match due to the NCAA's number of matches limitations per player. However, they will both play in UH's next match at San Diego State on Saturday, March 4 at 12:00 p.m.
