KA'ANAPALI, Maui – The Hawai'i men's golf team finished the Ka'anapali Collegiate Classic Invitational with an 18
th-place finish from the UH Green team and a 21
st-place finish from the Black team.
Justin Arcano lead UH with t-34 individual performance for the tournament after shooting 2-over 73 on Sunday to finish at 4-over 215 overall.
Cameron Kaneko was one stroke behind at 216 after shooting even-par 71 on Sunday.
Nick Nelson (230, t-101),
Taiga Iwasa (232, t-105), and
Smart Kittirattanapaiboon (236, 110) also competed for the Green team.
The Black team was led by
Justin Ngan who finished tied for 82
nd individually with a 224 after posting a 75 on Sunday. Tervor Hirata finished t-99
th overall (229), while
Bryden Salvador finished t-101 (230),
Cole Yoshida finished t-111 (237) and
Shane Snow finished 115
th (247) individually.
LSU won the team event with at 31-under par (821) for the tournament. South Carolina finished second at -24, one stroke better than Cal.
Cal's K.K. Limbhasut took medalist honors with a 12-under 201 for the tournament after matching the day's best round with a 66 on Sunday. Scott Stevens of South Carolina finished second at 202, and Kansas' Andy Spenser was third at 203.
UH will return to action in the spring with the Amer Ari Invitational Feb. 1-3 in Waikoloa, Hawai'i.
