Live ScoringSAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif. – The University of Hawai'i women's golf team finished in a tie for 12
th place following Tuesday's third and final round of the Bruin-Wave Invitational held at the San Luis Obispo Country Club.
The Rainbow Wahine shot a final round 312 for a 937 total. Co-host UCLA captured the team title (868) easily over the rest of the field which included eight nationally ranked teams. Fellow co-host Pepperdine was 10
th at 921.
UH finished second among four Big West schools trailing only Cal Poly (922), which placed 11
th. CSUN (955) was 15
th and UC Irvine (960) placed 16
th in the 16-team field.
UCLA's Louise Ridderstrom captured medalist honors after defeating teammate Bronte Law in a play-off. The duo finished the tournament at 3-under 213, two strokes ahead of San Diego State's Emma Henrikson (215).
UH's top finisher was junior
Izzy Leung, who tied for 42
nd place at 233 after a final round 78. One stroke back was junior
Raquel Ek (234), who posted the team's best score of the day at 3-over 75, and placed 45th.

The Rainbow Wahine will next host Texas in a dual match, March 19, at the Royal Hawaiian Golf Club before hosting the Dr. Donnis Thompson Invitational, March 22-23 at the Kane'ohe Klipper Golf Course.
