Senior Night On Tap This Week For Men’s Basketball

Game Notes | Alternate Parking Options

HONOLULU – After a sensational win at UC Irvine to stay undefeated on the road and remain atop the Big West Conference, the University of Hawai'i men's basketball team returns home to play UC Riverside on Thursday, Feb. 25 and  CSUN on Saturday, Feb. 27. Both start times are set for 7:00 p.m.

The CSUN game will be Senior Night for players Quincy Smith, Roderick Bobbitt, Dyrbe Enos and Sai Tummala who will each be honored with a special ceremony following the game.

UH (22-3, 11-1 BWC) comes into the game with all sorts of momentum. The 'Bows are coming off a perfect road trip capped by their comeback win over the Anteaters, one that gave them a season sweep over UCI and a stranglehold over the defending league champions for the top spot in the conference.

At the forefront off it all is Stefan Jankovic. The junior big man earned a pair of weekly honors this week after monster performances against CSUN and UC Irvine. Jankovic averaged 29.5 points and 7.0 rebounds across both road wins and his 34 points on a near perfect 12-13 from the field against CSUN was a career-high.

The 'Bows are in the final stretches in what has already been a historic run. Should they run the table in their four remaining regular season games, they would equal the program record for wins in a season (27). The 22-3 mark is the best record through 25 games since the 1971-72 team that finished 24-3 and their 6-0 league road record is a first in program history.
