HONOLULU—The No. 67 University of Hawai'i women's tennis team (2-3, 0-0 Big West) will wrap up its five-match homestand this week as they open their Big West schedule against Cal Poly (1-0, 0-0 BWC) on Saturday, Feb. 6 at 11:00 am at the UH Tennis Complex.
Rookie
Marina Hruba will lead the Rainbow Wahine into battle against the Mustangs. Hruba remains undefeated thus far in singles with an 8-0 overall record, and 5-0 mark in dual matches. Fellow freshman
Roxanne Resma is 4-4 overall and 3-2 in dual matches.
In doubles, UH's No. 3 duo of Hruba and
Paulina Petriskova led the Rainbow Wahine with a 5-3 record (4-1 in dual matches) while the combo of Resma and
Cindy Nguyen has posted a 4-3 record thus far splitting their wins on the No. 1 and 2 courts.
