HONOLULU—The University of Hawai'i women's tennis team completed action on the third and final day of the Hawai'i Anuenue Invitational on Sunday at the UH Tennis Complex.
 
For the third straight day, the 'Bows competed against Hawai'i Pacific. UH won four of five doubles matches while in singles and was able to win four of six matches on the final day of the tournament. For the three-day tourney, Hawai'i won 12 of 15 doubles matches and 14 of 18 singles matches.
 
In the doubles draw, UH's Saga Shermis and Sophia Storch knocked off Hawai'i Pacific's Leticia Gonzalez dos Santos and Monica Greene, 6-3 while UH's Nikola Dolakova and Roxanne Resma combined to knock off Barbora Kijasova and Oceane Adam, 6-3. Hawai'i's Klara Pribylova and Alzbeta Houbova held off HPU's Lara Meccico and Nicole Hoynaski, 6-4 and Michelle Pits and Marina Hruba joined forces to defeat Kijasova and Adam, 6-4.
 
In singles, the Rainbow Wahine won their four matches in straight sets. Resma defeated Adam, 6-1, 6-3 while Pits defeated HPU's Gonzalez dos Santos, 6-2, 6-0. Pribylova almost blanked the Sharks' Kijasova, 6-0, 6-1 and Houbova posted a 6-1, 6-1 win over HPU's Greene.
 
Hawai'i will next compete in the Intercollegiate Tennis Association's (ITA) Regionals, Oct. 20-24.
