NORTHRIDGE, Calif.—The No. 12 University of Hawai'i women's volleyball team (12-4, 5-0 Big West) swept CSUN to begin their second roadtrip of the season, 25-14, 25-15, 25-15. Nikki Taylor led the Rainbow Wahine, posting her fourth double-double of the season with a match-high 13 kills to go with 11 digs while Emily Maglio added eight kills and five blocks on Thursday night at the Matadome in Northridge, Calif.

Taylor recorded double-digit kills for the 11th time this season. Her 13 kills tonight brought her career total to 1,202 as she claimed No. 15 on UH's all-time career kills record list, breaking a tie with Kenyatta Lovelace at 1,189. She is just the 15th player in Rainbow Wahine history to record over 1,200 career kills. Taylor also added five blocks and a service ace.

Setter Norene Iosia dished out 31 assists with six digs and two blocks. Libero Savanah Kahakai recorded her 13th double-digit dig match with 14 digs against CSUN.

It marked the third-straight match that the Rainbow Wahine held their opponents to a negative hitting percentage. Tonight the 'Bows hit .254 while holding the Matadors to -.040. Hawai'i had a combined 40 kills while CSUN (6-11, 2-3 Big West) tallied 19. UH also had the edge at the net out-blocking CSUN, 10.0-to-9.0. All 14 Rainbow Wahine who made the trip played.

Hawai'i has now won their last 26-straight Big West matches as well as their last 15-straight conference road matches.

Next up, Hawai'i will face the only other remaining unbeaten team in the league, Long Beach State (11-7, 5-0 BWC). The two teams will clash on Saturday, Oct. 8 at 8:00 p.m. in the Walter Pyramid.
