FULLERTON, Calif. – Isaac Fleming scored a career-high 23 points to help the University of Hawai'i Rainbow Warrior basketball team to a thrilling 86-79 overtime win at Cal State Fullerton in Big West Conference action Saturday at Titan Gym.

The 'Bows were perfect from the line in the overtime period, shooting 12-12 including six by Stefan Jankovic who also had eight of UH's overtime points. He finished with 21 points and Roderick Bobbitt added 14 points and six assists. UH improves to a perfect 4-0 in league play and equals the program's best start since 2001 with a 15-2 overall record.

The 'Bows had several opportunities to pull away in the second half but found themselves trailing by two points with under a minute to play. A Bobbitt turnover resulted in two made free throws by Lionheart Leslie (17 pts) to put CSF up three, but a late three-pointer by Jankovic from Bobbitt with 10 seconds rallied the 'Bows and sent the game into overtime.

Khalil Ahmad led the Titans (8-8, 1-2 BWC) with 19 points and Kyle Allman and Tre' Coggins both added 13 points.

Fleming connected on all of his four three pointers in the second half, including one to beat the shot clock and tie the game with just under three minutes to play. The 'Bows would again find themselves down, this time by four points with 2:11 to play before Jankovic hit a pair of free throws to cut the lead to two. Sai Tummala (9 pts, 5 reb) also hit a pair of late free throws to set the stage for Jankovic's game-tying three pointer.

It was a hot early start to the game by the Titans who opened up an 8-2 lead. Leslie converted a three-point play then Collins scored from downtown to help CSF to the early advantage. The 'Bows wouldn't stay cold for long and, after a Bobbitt three pointer, had their first lead at 11-9.

Late in the half, Quincy Smith (5 pts, 3 reb) tied the game at 20-20 with a three pointer, sparking an 8-2 to run to help the 'Bows go into halftime with an 86-79 lead.

The Rainbow Warriors now return home for a matchup against UC Davis. Tipoff at the Stan Sheriff Center is set for 7:00 p.m.
