Izzy Leung is tied for 13
th after the first two rounds of the Silverado Showdown, Monday, at the Silverado Country Club.
The sophomore fired rounds of 78 and 71 for a 149 total, eight strokes off the lead held by Colorado's Esther Lee. Leung's 1-under 71 in Round 2 was the fifth lowest of the round and propelled her 23 spots after her opening round 78. Her second round including four birdies, one bogey, and one double.
As a team, the Rainbow Wahine are in 14
th place among the 15-team field with a 628 total (317-311). Co-hosts Oregon and Colorado hold the top two spots at 589 and 592, respectively. The other Big West Conference team, Long Beach State, is in 11
th place at 618.

Marie Donnici are tied for 56
th at 158. Ek shot consecutive rounds of 79 while Donnici fired 78 and 80. Sophomore
Brianna Becker is tied for 71
st at 165 (84-81) while junior
Nichole Cruz is tied for 76
th at 170 (82-88).
The tournament concludes on Tuesday with the third and final round. Following the tourney, the Rainbow Wahine will next compete in the Big West Conference Championships, April 19-21, in Davis, Calif.
