The University of Hawai`i men's tennis team most recently continues its roadtrip in California at No. 66 Santa Barbara on Wednesday, Apr. 1.The Rainbow Warriors played against No. 64 Cal Poly on Monday, but were swept by the Mustangs, 7-0 at the Mustang Tennis Complex. Senior Chas Okamoto recorded the closest match of the day, but Cal Poly's Garrett Auproux held him off on the No. 2 court, 7-5, 6-4. Also, sophomore Marcel Chan kept things close in the No. 4 match against Mustang's Lucas Lesour but also fell, 6-2, 6-4.
The Gauchos are currently No. 66 in the nation with a 7-7 overall record in 2015. The Gauchos are led by junior Nathan Eshmade who has eight singles and four doubles wins with partner Erik Johnson. UCSB's most recently rolled past Boise State, 5-2.
