Brittany Tiegs won their deciding match on the one court under the bright lights of the T.C. Ching Complex on Sunday.

Katie Spieler and
Olivia Urban's win against Nebraska (3-1) on the two court was the story of the day.
Hannah Rooks and
Sammie Brown put UH ahead after they dominated their flight three match, but Nebraska won the next two finishes to go ahead 2-1. On the brink of a Nebraska win, Spieler and Urban responded, rallying from a set down to top the Cornhusker pair of Amber Rolfzen and Kelsey Fien 18-21, 21-16, 15-10 and set up the primetime affair between the two teams' one pairings. Spieler had an impressive performance, recording an incredible 24 digs while adding 18 kills and two aces.

Taylor and Tiegs took full advantage, sweeping the Nebraska pair of Justine Wong-Orantes and Alicia Ostrander 21-14, 23-21. UH staved off three set points to capture the straight-set win and dual victory for the 'Bows.

Spieler and Urban later swept Cal's Emily Shults and Bryce Bark to complete a clean sweep against the Golden Bears (3-6). Rooks and Brown dominated Cal's Inanna Eshoo and Ali Leong 21-10, 21-8 on the three court for their second win of the day and clinch the win for the 'Bows.

The 'Bows (6-1) next play a dual match at Pacific then travel to Santa Cruz, Calif. to play San Francisco and Santa Clara and compete in a pairs tournament with the same teams.
