Pro Day PacketThe University of Hawai'i football program held its annual Pro Day for draft eligible players Thursday, March 19 at the San Diego State University campus. Seventeen former Rainbow Warriors participated in Pro Day which ran in conjunction with SDSU's Pro Day and attracted scouts and player personnel from nearly every NFL team.

The player garnering the most interest from scouts was Iosefa, who participated in the NFL Scouting Combine in Indianapolis last month. In four seasons at UH, the Pago Pago, American Samoa native rushed for 2,218 yards and 21 touchdowns. Harding, a second-team All-American punter, recently competed in the NFL Regional Combine in Chicago. A four-year letterman, the Brisbane, Australia native was the team's starting receiver, punter, and punt returner during the past two seasons.

Also drawing interest among scouts were Afusia, Yap, and Shutter, the latter of whom spent the past two years at the University of Regina in Canada.

Each participant were put through various skills tests which were broken up into weight room, field workouts, and position workouts. Among the drills were the vertical jump, broad jump, 225-pound bench press, 40-yard dash, pro shuttle, 3-cone drill, and position-specific drills.

UH has held its Pro Day with SDSU for the past two years after conducting its own workouts for several years at the Home Depot Center in Carson, Calif.

The NFL Draft is Thursday, April 30 through Saturday, May 2 in Chicago, Ill., with the with the first round taking place April 30, followed by the second and third rounds on May 1 and Rounds 4-7 on May 2.

A UH athlete has been not been selected in the past two NFL Drafts after having at least one draftee in 11 of 13 drafts from 2000-12.
