HONOLULU – The University of Hawai'i men's basketball team fought through a myriad of injuries and a scrappy Cal State Fullerton team to beat the Titans, 81-61, in Big West Conference action on Saturday night at the Stan Sheriff Center.

Hawai'i (18-9, 6-5 Big West), already shorthanded without
Aaron Valdes, saw
Isaac Fleming and
Mike Thomas go down with ankle injuries with neither returning to the game.

Negus Webster-Chan had a career-high 18 points, all coming from three-pointers.
Roderick Bobbitt posted a career-high in points of his own, scoring 17 while adding three steals and four assists.

Lanerryl Johnson led the Titans (9-16, 1-9 Big West) with a game-high 23 points.

Quincy Smith added 13 points, three assists and a game-high four steals.

Earlier in the evening UH held its first alumni game in decades with the green squad beating the white team 56-47. Justice Sueing dropped a game-high 20 points including alley-oop dunk in the final seconds.

The 'Bows return to the mainland next week to play UC Irvine on Thursday, Feb. 19 then UC Davis on Saturday, Feb. 21.
