Game NotesHONOLULU – After suffering its first defeat of the season, the University of Hawai'i men's basketball team returns home to host the University of Arkansas-Pine Bluff on Wednesday, Dec. 2 (7:00 p.m.) at the Stan Sheriff Center. The 'Bows and Golden Lions will meet for the third time in four seasons and fourth since first starting their series in 2010.
The two teams squared off last season, an 85-57 win by Hawai'i on Day 1 of the Outrigger Resorts Rainbow Classic.
Aaron Valdes dropped 28 points on 11-15 shooting in the first game and win for interim head coach Benjy Taylor.
The 'Bows (4-1) saw an 11-point first-half lead evaporate this past weekend at Texas Tech en route to their first loss of the season. Starters

Isaac Fleming had a career outing though in defeat, delivering a career best 21 points off the bench on 8-13 shooting from the floor and 4-8 in three pointers.
Valdes has been the biggest offensive threat for UH. He is averaging a team-best 18.8 points per game and unleashed a season-high 25 points at Texas Tech to lead all scorers. Bobbitt is tied for tops in the Big West in steals (2.60) and assists (7.60) per game.
