H-TV: Media Day Sights & Sounds | Photo GalleryHONOLULU – The University of Hawai'i men's basketball team conducted its annual media day on Monday afternoon at the Stan Sheriff Center. Media and photographers were on hand as the 'Bows had an unveiling of sorts, donning the green set of their first-ever Under Armour uniforms.

It was also another opportunity for players and coaches to share their thoughts on the state of the team and preparing for the upcoming season. "One of things we tell our team is to set our team goals and put them aside," said head coach
Eran Ganot. "We can't get that overnight and we can't do that today. We just have to maximize each day and have great practices and great film room sessions. It's exciting for me as someone who's been there before. This is my first year as head coach but I'm someone who loves this program and appreciates everything it's about. We have a great staff and a great group of guys sacrificing and trying to do things right."
Junior guard
Aaron Valdes also chimed in on preparing for the season. "We'll just take it one day at a time and one game at a time. We're just going to be focused on the first game of the season and after that move on to the next one."
The 'Bows will host a Green & White scrimmage at the Stan Sheriff Center this Saturday, Oct. 24 at 3:00 p.m. then open the season Nov. 5 hosting an exhibition contest against Chaminade.
